baby soren | minneapolis newborn + family photographer

I am so delighted to share this adorable session with you! It is definitely one of my favorites! Anna contacted Hello Love Photography and wanted to do a newborn session for her pending arrival and her family. She was concerned about the light in their home and wondered if it would be enough? I assured her that we would be able to make the light work and that a lifestyle session was the way to go!

When I arrived at their home, I was greeted by the ever-adorable, Signe and dad, Ramsey. Signe is playful and sweet. And like most 2 1/2 year-olds, she commanded my camera’s attention. I couldn’t help making so many photographs of her! Then enter new baby boy, Soren. He was absolutely precious! Those tiny toes and lips … I am a sucker for tiny toes and lips. I was in love. He was so alert for a 7 day-old! Soren was awake for most of our session, but Anna was able to get him to sleep with a full tummy. I found out that Anna and Ramsey were college sweethearts from St. Olaf with strong ties to the Norwegian heritage. Hence their children’s names, Signe and Soren. You know what else I am a sucker for? Classic and unique names! Oh and the light in their home?! AMAZING! It was dreamy, creamy and in abundance. I wanted to bathe in it.
